Quito, Ecuador, 21-22 May 1998
The conference presented the
standard methodological approach for mitigation analysis applied in the
studies of Ecuador and the Andean Region.
In addition, important issues on
climate change were presented and discussed, including the Kyoto Protocol,
Joint Implementation (JI), the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), tradable
emission permits, the Carbon Prototype Fund, national communications, and
enabling activities.
