The Project supports Costa Rica, Senegal, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Ghana, and Morocco in strengthening national mitigation plans, and identifying and elaborating Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs).

FIRM builds on existing mitigation analyses, such as Technology Needs Assessments (TNAs), allowing partner countries to quickly engage and rapidly move from project planning to implementation.

The Project is funded by the Danish Government and is jointly implemented by UNEP and URC.
