Case studies
The
methodology developed to estimate the economic benefits and costs will be
demonstrated in two project case studies:
- Berg River Basin Study (South Africa): An
assessment of the benefits and costs of avoiding climate change damages
for structural and non-structural water supply options in the Western
Cape.
- The
Gambia Drought Study (South Africa): An assessment of the benefits and
costs of options for avoiding the damages caused by more frequent extreme
droughts to poor farmers in the The Gambia.
