| Technical support for NAPA
This project provided technical assistance for National Adaptation
Programmes of Action (NAPA) in two least developed countries. Assistance was
provided through:

Development, training and implementation of a ranking and screening
methodology for selecting adaptation projects (to be submitted as
GEF proposals)

Training in economic assessment of adaptation costs and benefits of
candidate projects

Development of example project profiles for The Gambia and Malawi
Participants in the project were Stockholm
Environmental Institute, URC, University of Virginia / Miombo Network, and
Department of Water Resources, The Gambia.
